Just bought a couple of DCC ready locos. They have an eight pin DCC connector for easy conversion, no problem there, but I want to use one as a guinea pig and add sound as well.
I understand that something like Soundtraxx comes as a seperate item, but how does it fit onto the existing eight pin DCC plug, or does it come as a complete item, DCC control and sound in one plug.
The model I am fitting it to is a Frateschi (Brazilian) loco which are of South American outline, in this case a GE G12 which were supplied to South American railroads in the 50's, and are still going strong, and very noisily !
