Hi, sorry if this post isn't in the correct area, but this seemed to be the best place for it.
I posting on behalf of my uncle, who belongs to a model train and railway station club here in South Africa. He and the rest of the club where in the process of restoring/repairing their tracks and models and so on, when a young boy who accompanied his dad decided to paint a very old hand made station with black paint.
The station was made by an old gentleman who, on his travels to america, saw the and decided to build a model of it when he got back to South Africa.
Unfortunatly he now has alzheimers and dosn't remember were he found this station. We want to restore it, and was wondering if anyone knows of a website where we can find info on old staions, or if any of you know of it.
The only information i have an it is that is was, or is still called the Dale Street station. and that its in america of course. Any help would be very much apreciated.
