Sorry gang this pics are not as sharp as I would like...lighting wasn't the best there...Bachmann had the best lighting..but nothing to display for Nscale other then signs of their new releases for 2005. Model Power displayed their new 4-4-0 American and 2-6-0 Mogul coming out next year, with interchangeable boilers and cabs to be used for the variations and phases that were produced. Their flyer states: "Metal Boiler, Metal Chassis, Golden White LED , State of the art 5-pole Mashima Motor (12 Volts, 19,000 rpm) Flywheel Drive, DCC compatible, Front/Rear Knuckle coupler compatible. Special features include: Separately applied handrails and other metal parts, two different headlight positions (Top/Center) Two different prototypical pilots (Foot Board/ Boiler Tube) Two Different Valve and Cylinder types (Square/Slanted Circular) two different cab window styles (rectangular/arched) two different tender truck styles (Andrews/Arch Bar) Undecorated offered with all components."

Yet another N scale steam model maker who hasn't realized that not every RR burned coal out of square tenders (SP anyone? ANYONE??). Why go through the trouble of making 2 cabs, 2 pilots, 2 headlights, but only 1 tender?

Still, good to see new products in n scale! Whoo Hoo!

Mike,
Did you get a look at the construction of those Mod-u-rail modules? What are they made of? The WS website isn't too informative, you were right on the prices. Looks like they were marketing these for both N & HO, they seem sort of small for HO.

They might be only showing the N-Scale versions at the show, as well as the 2 peices on their website. definatly to small for a HO layout, the corner section is 32"x32", with about 24-28" available for the loop, meaning a 12-14" radius curve. that's definatly an N-Scale perspective, HO would require a min of 18" radius to be feasible. they won't get many bites with HO with that small of radii.
