Stilgar, nice to hear from you! What do you mean if anyone is interested! That is one Bad ass helmet. I am tempted to make a thing shell to slip over my motorcycle helmet, (seeing how my helmet costs around $500 bucks, I don't want to do anything permanent). Looks great!
Zathros, check with your local and state law enforcement. Making ANY changes except paint to a DOT helmet makes it illegal on to use on roads.

Connecticut is a Helmet free state, though I'd never ride without one, and it has to be full face at that!. I was thinking more of a single layer fiberglass cloth, with some stretch cloth to slip over for fun.
I have never done a helmet slip cover. Many helmets I have seen are just painted to look like a differet helmet.
