From the looks of it and the distance its a Bell but the model could be either a Agusta AB139 or the 429/430 but its absolutly a Bell.
It could be the 109 but I have never seen a 109 with the wheel wells extended out like that

    same airframe

and for the USCG, not the first time they went outside the US for aircraft

first was the Falcon, and then the HH-65 Dolphin

    Hey Rick,

Both the USAF and the Navy have done it too!

There was the B-57, and the C-7 Carabou, and now we have the BAC? Hawk as the Navy Advanced Trainer the Goshawk.

There are other and I'm sure these guys will name them.

You always nail these things........if I my memory dosen't fail........ah what was I typing.................

    oh nice!

i'm honored :) i'll try to make some kind of build review if i can (taking pictues is still a problem for now but it's being worked on )

i'm quite interested in this helicopter as the belgian army uses a 109 variant (a190ba) in recon, medevac and even antitank roles.

one morning i even saw two of these machines escorting a chinook helicopter ( probably a uk or dutch visitor) wich was quite a cool sight.
although personally i think all the militarry equiptment somewhat spoils the gracious lines of this craft which nobi so nicely captured.

    thanks a lot!!!

btw, you can see some belgian agustas @:

Do you have a picture that you are referancing it from and could ya show us?

here's the best reference of this particular craft i could find...

straight from the manifacturer actually :p

i really like the paintjob where integrated the tail rotor skid into the curvy line...
Personally i wouldn't mind one of these shutteling me to work every day :) dream on....

If I'm not too much mistaken didn't they dress one of these up as the HX-1 in an Airwolf episode?
