at radio shack they have a lowrider with hydros, really just motors but its looks kinda cool!
ok, lets get this straight. Im talking about hooking up 4 servos on my car and using them to move the car up and down. Im not talking about using real car hydros, that would be pretty stupid because there is no room at all for that and that crap is really heavy. servos, servos, servos.
now get to work!
lol, im tryin man but the hard part is trying to figure out how to get the servos mounted. after that its easy
do you have the servos and radio allready?
Just copy the REVO design but instead of the shocks put the servos, you will be moving in no time!
thats a good idea jl and yea I have a 4 channel remote and a 7 channel receiver and all the servos id ever need
are you making independent hydrolics? or both back wheels and both front wheels?
you need a 6 channel radio man.
ya lol. 1 for throttle, 1 for steering and 4 for the hyrdos...
i know but all im worried aboutright now is the hydros. ill probably use a seperate 2 channel remote to drive the car so that my friend and i can take turns. he drives and i hit the switches or the other way. thats my idea right now
hmmm this is my idea and it uses 4 servos. Mount each servo on its side right by the arm and then use 1 of those discs for each servo and then connect a tie rod to each arm. as the servo turns the car will go up and down the thing about this is thatn you would have to go back and forth because servos down go all the way around. I dont even know if what im saying makes any sence to any of you but it seems to make the car go up and down ok!
ya i understand.that is what i was thinking.just have toggle type switches or like on a plane radio they have switches you push up and down to make things move. use 2 seperate recievers for that idea trucker. a 2 channel reciever/radio anbd a 4 channel reciever/radio rather then one reciever and 2 radios.it will confuse the reciever and youll have a mess on ur hands.
What your talking about is more than likely going to require air plane Tx,Rx, servo package to operate all your servos, RED
well red he said he hhad a 4 channel radio with servos so that should work.
no i think reds right. you dont want to be running 2 different radios on the thing.it is really nice to have everything off of one. plus if you use a regular 4ch radio you will be using the gas for one servo.steering for another and isnt one of the chanels just a button? dont know the fourth is probably a switch wich is alright. i was saying ina round about way to get the plane system.get a radio and flight pack.it will give you all the electronics you need and have it done the right way.
Dont you think that it would be better to have all the controls on one Tx? I've got a buddy that puts tanks together that require as many as 8 and 10 servos to operate it I'll ask for his opinion on the subject, RED
