Ok guys herte the deal i want to use my power on the DCC power to track to run buffer light was think of using a chip to do this or can it not be done need to run 12 buffer stops ty.mike
mike: It should be possible -- I think that passenger car lights run off DCC track power. However, I also recall that there are modules to control lights.
What are you planning for the bulb? DCC operates with higher voltages than DC. An LED only takes 1.5V and might do odd things on the funny AC waveform.
