I thought you guys might get a kick out of this guys humor. I may use some of his cartoons in my newsletter. This is a particularly good one I thought.
I used to check his strip every day, then he seemed to go on vacation and it looks as if he never came back. Is there anything new there, in say the last year?
That's pretty funny Goattee, thanks for sharing it with us.
I'm not sure what kind of newsletter you're thinking of using the cartoons in, whether it's just a personal/family kind of thing or whether it's work-related, but I would imagine that the artwork is copyright. As an artist myself I am kind of hyper-sensitive about this kind of thing, so if your newsletter is anything more than just a personal type one, you should definitely get permission from the artist.
Spitfire;
I produce a union local lodge news letter (about 100 members) It would not be coast effective to pay for such a small run. Especially since the lodge has to foot the bill for it all. I agree you need to be played for your labors.
