I have more unfinished projects than I care to list.
I keep finding these deals I can't pass up so the list keeps getting longer.

Same here, the more I organize my garage the more unfinshed and new projects keep showing up. This is trains from past shows, that were just put in a boxes and forgot about. Really have too many to list and too much going on now to be able work on them. My main project is HOseeker.net which now consumes most of my train time.

Just a few projects I need and would like to complete someday

Winton/Bowser 2-6-6-6 Allegeny modification, paint
Bowser 4-4-4-4 rebuild, paint
Bowser 4-6-2 K11 Pacific rebuild, paint
Bowser 2-8-2 Mikado rebuild, paint
Mantua 2-8-2 Mikado repaint
Mantua 2-8-2 Mikado rebuild, paint, may modify
John English 4-6-2 Pacific rebuild, paint
John English 2-8-2 Mikado paint

Build new Layout

and the list goes on

Oh, this could be bad...

  1. complete wiring design plan
  2. draft up a nice wiring diagram
  3. drill holes for wires everywhere and run wires
  4. construct control panel
  5. build removable shelf to handle controllers
  6. attach and fine tune about 20 switch machines
  7. build three trestles
  8. lay down all track temporarily
  9. test all track and tweak until completely happy with it
  10. test test test
  11. glue down track
  12. install turntable
  13. sculpt the entire layout
  14. add base coat of paint
  15. weather track
  16. ballast
  17. design location of roads/structures
  18. build scenes, including station, intermodal facility, forest fire, campground, farm, hazardous waste cleanup, and town
  19. weather structures and vehicles
  20. install roads and structures
  21. landscaping landscaping landscaping
  22. weather engines and rolling stock
  23. design/build cover for entire layout to keep dust off
  24. document everything on web page
  25. convert from DC to DCC
That's just off the top of my head, sitting here at work. Whew!

Well I managed to assemble the stock car, repair the reefer and am about halfway through the sidewalk project. But of course, my JV models Sawmill kit came in the mail today..sigh.
