Housatonic GP-35

    I love that kind of track work, rail-joined a zillion times and under 3 inches of grass, that makes for a fun ride [​IMG] :embarrassed:

    I don't know their history. The color scheme does seem simmilar. I'll let you know if I am able to find out any other info about them.

    Here is what I have found out so far.

    It looks like all five of the GP35s came to the Housatonic from Conrail. It is believed at least two of those were from PRR, but that is not confirmed at this time.

    As for the paint scheme, I am told it very closely resembles the late era New Haven design with one color change. Where the NH used orange, the HRR uses yellow.

    Your questionl is being passed on to other HRR experts. So, we may have more into in a few days.
