Has anyone experimented with DIY/homebrew DCC solutions such as command stations, decoders, etc?
One solution I am interested in is the minibox

which appears to be a loconet compatible command station.
Has anyone ever heard of this, or used it? How about some of the other solutions such as minidcc?
Yeah, I know...there are some cheap DCC products out there. I may even buy a used digitax system like a bigboy. I just thought about living on the wild side.
