Hello! I use this stuff called jiffy foam as a modeling material! Carves, fast and easy with just a straight edge, exacto knife, and a small half round file. Is anyone using this stuff? Philip :) :)

Hi Philip, The portal looks great! Where do you get this stuff, the Jiffy Foam?

    That is great looking, Philip.
Is it in the box because you're getting ready to make an RTV mold of it?
I too am interested in the source for the jiffy foam.

Bill, Yes the portal is in the mold box. The foam is available in three densities. Shown above is the 20lb. They also have 14lb and 7lb. more readily available at art supply stores. Dick Blick Art supply has the 7 & 14lb on the shelf ready for shipment. I use the 7lb, not real durable until painted. I buy the product locally because direct offers only a minimum order of $100. That much would keep me busy for years :) philip
