The saga continues....

The legs gave me minor brain fits as far as adjustability. I pondered all manner of ways 'til this one slipped right thru the cranial fog. I just welded 1/2' nuts to the inside of the table legs then spun four 1/2"x6" carriage bolts in. The design of the bolts allows me to adjust them from topside with a small cresent wrench.

Here's a shot of the first scenery. The N scale track weathered and ballasted well enough that I am pleased with the effect.

The module was a success at it's first showing and a surprise crowd-pleaser, even though the scenery is only about 15% along. It required little adjusting and the modern goose project http://www.the-gauge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5977 ran flawlessly for 8 straight hours non-stop. Our layout is a serious contender for the "Peoples Choice" award to be given out tomorrow. All in all a good start for the NMRA regionals this spring.
