A small model for a change 1/400th HMS Triumph on her one and only sortie to Korean waters with Seafires and Fireflys and for a bit of colour Colossus in late war camoflage with Corsairs and Baracudas. No great innovations

Corsairs and Barracuda

Thanks for the kind words fellas

@Gixergs

Considering how many navies used the class one preerved would have been fitting.

I love the Barracuda it's so damn ugly.

The little planes need some touching up but I am waiting for my eyes to rest up a bit. The tail surfaces and oleos rely very heavily on crazy glue wonderful results but not my favourite glue.

I tried to make one of the corsairs in glossy phootopaper but had an awful job trying to glue it together does any one have any clever tricks with this stuff please ?

Just noticed that the Corsairs have USA markings. Shouldn't they be changed? Those planes are soo tiny. Must be difficult getting them to look something like the original. Good work so far.

They look like Brits to me. The Pacific aircraft did not have the red dot in the roundal so as to avoid mistakes with the red markings on the Japanese plane I guess the white bar to it was for the same reason

Fleet Aim Arm markings

Hi Greg

They are similar but they are actually a white bar and circle with a blue inner and white have a better picture. Probably so the Yanks did not shoot us down mate. There should be others on the wings.
