Hi All

Backto cardboard a lot of time has gone into this bit I tried to blow up some of the detail just to show how much there is on this model.

Well worth the effort, looks good out in the old sun. I will have to try that if it ever comes back and stops chucking it down.

Don't give up on the soldering, I'am going to try to do a thread on this in the next few days, as I will be doing Yamato's mast and ye old flag staffs.

Regards

Hi Barry

Watching this thing come together is giving me ideas of building some of the smaller ships to go with the big things Ive got. (small fleet, battle wagons and escorts)
Good card bashing me old mate.

More soon I hope

4.7" single mounting and shield

Hi

Something a bit different X gun, sorry about the photographs, overall length of gun is 4cm takes quite a long time to put together. Ther is quite a bit more detail to go on but I have mydoubts if it will be seen with the shield in place

Hi Barry

Funny, the most detail on models always goes in to places that you have to bust your neck to get a good look at it

You have put some time in on this gun position, no wonder its turning out so well

More me old mate

Savage Y gun

Hi

Have a pair

Jim

Luckily my cat is like me, too old to jump up and dance on the table and you know he has arrived 'cos he's a noisy sod.

Hi Barry

Looking great, some close up's would go down a treat.

If this moggy stands still long enough I will post a photo of him you will be amazed how battered and uggly he is, it's so nasty all scatter before it:lol:

Thats why I feed him, I think he's great fun!!

Keep up the good work

HNS Savage

Hi

Couple more photographs blame Rob this time

Rob had a thought you could do Missouri and 2 or 3 Fletcher class as a screen thatshould give you a big enough diorama

Depth charge relaod rack

Hi

First depth charge reload rack, nerveracking you can cut out rows 1 and 2 with some equanimity but when you are at the last two holes and the cut the frame from the paper bit not funny so to speak. Only 3 more to go !!

My only defence on this picture they look a lot better in real life.

Depth charge thrower

Hi All

Made up the first depth charge thrower there is quite a bit of detail in them and they look very effective for such a small item.

Joseph

Savage is put together using white glue throughout

Thanks, Barry!
What a great set of photos!! :D

Yeah, that ought to do it for me for an hour or so...then I'll need some more photo updates.
It's like chips...once you eat the first one you can't stop.

Jim, the photo update junkie. :D

Uh-oh, the depth charges are onboard now. We'll have to make sure pictures of Barry's Savage and Lukasz's Dzik stay in separate galleries!

Savage is looking great, Barry. Like Rob said, that bow shot is very catchy!
