So here are some pics of the Invincible. Kinda going slower than I'd like but it's working out well. As ships go, its not the most weird but it was different. All the parts are coming together good, no problems there. You'll notice (maybe) that I didn't back my decking with extra board. I understand the idea, just not how to execute. That and I've spent a lot of time on Navy ships. None of them are flat. They all have ripples and dipples. So I like to think mine has that "been there, done that" look.

Unrelated, need to get better with my camera. These are kinda bad.

Hi, beachead.

I was going to crack wise about HMS Invisible but decided not to.
But then I thought:
"what the heck ..."sign1

Seriously, I'd love to see some pix, and thanks in advance for sharing.

Thanks for sharing, beachead.

It's coming along nicely.

tip: autofocus or manual:
get a friend to hold a piece of lined white paper or card at the point of focus,
hold that focus, they take away the card and ...

but, I need to work on that myself, I need a better camera as well. Oh, well - I work on the principle that fuzzy shots are better than no shots.

Update and comment

Oh yippee - a corrected hull. That would be a no, went with what I got. I'll just be sure to show the good side. Didn't figure on there being one.

Yes, paper railings. I tried to make my own on a previous build. What a mess it turned out to be. Got fairly decent with cutting these to length etc and getting them glued down. As long as we're in 1x250 I'll golden.

Heres a more recent pic of the stern deck house. And thanks.
