Hi all,

I am a hobby sportsman and love my dogs - but I am currently also looking for a more "brainy" hobby.
See ya.

:welcome1: to the forum. Not sure about Brainy-maybe, yeah, I guess it could get there pretty quick when you think about it!

How about a model of a dog-a Dalmatian, from Canon Papercraft, it's FEE our favorite word around here.

If that's too obvious, let us know what interests you and I am sure we can find something. Thanks for making an Introductory post! :)

What are the subjects you would be interested in building. There are some really nice gun models. I would take a look at this site, and see if you find something you like. It covers just about everything. The owner of the site is a member here. It is a site we hold in high regard, We have a few more. Make sure you read the instructions o how to open the .pdf's. It's simple but it is the only way to open them.

p.s.: Make sure you check out all the other models at the Canon website. They have incredibly nice looking cars, ships, and planes.

I think ships is a brilliant idea! I am not the gun type though. I'll have a look at it! Thank you!

I would highly recommend "Lilla Weneda", a beautiful ship, and model of a Coastal Polish ferry. You will want to read all of this ship's history, as this model is so wonderful. Using Photoshop[, I made this model around 2 years ago. I up scaled it to 200% of it's original size (I ended up with around 26 pages of parts, who knew!). Mine is about 26" long. It is wonderful to build at any scale, as these pictures from the website show. Amazingly, this ship is FREE!. It can be had from this website, (scroll down a little), make sure you download the instructions! :)
