Yeah........... I want one too! Be neat to tool on down to the coast, head out to Cat or Chandelier Island, catch some supper and bop on back to "The Boats" and lose some money!

The kit is under 6K, but you gotta get the engine.............. wish they would post the turn-key price.............. but I guess you gotta watch out for sticker shock!

Yeah when I saw this I immediatly thought of Lizzie and her Orca.

    Mini Ekranoplane

    Hey John,

What a nice little 'Ekranoplane' - I want one, too!
We live quite close to the water and the Stockholm archipelago and I think this would turn a few heads . . .

    I like the UH-18SWP model kit the best - it´s a bargain at $ 5,200. It seems to be a real 'high-flyer'.
However, they don´t ship this model overseas. Oh well, I guess I´ll just have to settle for one of the smaller kits.

    A two-seater would be nice, though . . .

John thanks for the link. Great pictures and video. The price is well below what I expected. Hmmm. Maybe I should buy one. The storage of course is the expensive part.
There are about five hovercraftsat the Municiple Ship Creek Harbor. I wonder what it costs to store one there. I really should talk to a hovercraft owner and see if I can get a ride.

sweet, the author will actually have first hand knowledge of the fantasy craft she is designing and writing about.

I would suggest that you take your latest model with you when you go to talk to the owner, and get your ride.
