I just finished the clouds and am looking for suggestions for layout. I used to have an O gauge on this table and decided to go HO. The table is two 4x8 ft sheets in an upside down L shape then a narrow strip that connects the two points of the L (hope that makes sense). On the O gauge layout, it was pretty much a winding double loop single track with turnouts. The layouot plan I have now is a glorified version of that. I have never run a point to point or any other type layout so I am wanting pros and cons of each type and mabe some new layout plans for the space I have. Thanks, Rusty

Hi Rusty,

Welcome to The Gauge...!

Does your diagram represent the way the O scale was, or what you hope to do in HO?

Before we can help or make recommendations, I think that most people will want to know more about the features of your planned layout... What era? What location? What industries will be featured? What engines and rolling stock do you want to run? How do you plan to operate? etc, etc...

Please provide some more info, and I am sure you'll start getting some input.

Andrew
