    Brazilian Airforce models, site down?

Do you mean where the glow plug goes in that the threads got striped out?

It sounds to me as though the coiled glow plug element is being pulled out of the glow plug and ends up stuck to the top of your piston. Not a good thing! Could be that you have your motor too lean.

I had this happen when I ran nitro boats and a solution was to add head shims and/or change fuels. When I used 25% Byron nitro fuel in my K&B 3.5cc marine motor I was able to use 12 thou head clearance. When I changed to 45% nitro fuel I had to increase head clearance up to 20 thou otherwise I would end up sucking the ghlow plug element out.
