I am considering building my first layout. I have come up with a drawing of what I would like to do, but am having trouble trying to put it into the Right Track software that I downloaded. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Comments are always welcome.

Thanks,

Jacob

Can't help you with that software, but the inside turn radii seem a bit small at first glance. I think you would be more satisfied with stretching the plan out to fit the entire space. This would give you more room for buildings and scenery. That's something you could always be fiddling around with and improving.

The inner loop is probably 9-3/4". Expanding the width might still not allow larger-radius curves; they wouldn't allow the given configuration to fit in the length. A slightly different arrangement could offer bigger curves. If you have the width, use it now! It always produces the most efficient final layout if it was planned from the start for its full space.
