Hi Dave:
Here is the info I hope you need. The 2 outter connections are fixed. In other words, if you connect an Ohm Meter (I reconmend one for anyone working with electrity) you will get only one reading when you move the arm.
Now, when you connect one wire to any of the outter and one to the inner connection. The resistance will change.
