Hey sorry, but I just came up with an idea for an amazing WFC model: Demolishor.

As you can see here:

http://paperkraft.blogspot.com/2010/...apercraft.html

This model is almost identical to Demolishor's WFC design (seen here: http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/F...molishor-1.jpg)

I'm just wondering, is it possible for someone to modify the papercraft to turn it into Demolishor? it shouldn't be too difficult cause most of it is already there. And, to make it even ebtter, it moves!

If anyone knows of a way to get the meshes and textures out of the game "war for cybertron" I should be able to make them paper friendly.
Personally I'm looking for Optimus and Megatron, in vehicle and bot modes but the others are so cool I would grab them too...

With other projects ongoing I unfortunately can't devote the time to create them from scratch in 3d.

For those who wonder what they look like, two links:

Ok other way anyone with the game look through the folders you should find a folder, characters in that you'll find the 3d models for the tf's hopefully :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

Nav, I don't think that's the correct one... :p
It seems to be the game creator's own personal format...

MonkeyRum, nada. :( Nothing in header and the text is gibberish.

When I got more time on my hands I'll try creating my own models from scratch. I have no idea how to rip models from games.

Thanks for trying guys!

3d ripper dx is the program i use run ripper dx then the game from within ripper and then when a model you want appears on screen press the button that is linked to the ripper and it rips them for you.

been busy sorting out a new computer so been out of the modeling side for some time now

Sadly, while 3dripper launches the game and shows "ready to capture" on the corner, it captures absolutely nothing. No 3dr, no obj, no texture, nothing. But let's not lose heart. There are still two other options.

Option 1: Some guy on youtube named KingDracoon has uploaded the game's music. The sound quality is too good to have been recorded from speakers, and you can hear no other sounds during the vids. So either that person turned off all sounds except for the music and used a recording software, or he managed to open the music file. Someone you could contact him and ask him. I'd do it myself, but ever since google bought youtube loging is has become a pain I avoid.

Option 2: Some time ago, someone posted pics of a WFC to Gmod WIP, but has neither posted any updates, nor has he expressed any desire to share his work. However, I don't think he'll have any problem with telling how he opened the xxx files. Especially if he gets some credit for it. The only problem is that to register to Gmod, you must first buy the mod (or torrent it from what I've heard) and have Steam (I think).
But I can't find the topic now though...

I think both options are worth a shot. If any of you decides to try, then say it. No need to bombard a guy with pms about the same thing.

Pictures like this could be helpful for 3d modelers, so post them if you find them. I'd make some models myself, but I have too many projects on my hands already.
