I have a great love for all things paper, engineering and visual arts. I've been lurking here and over at Paper Modelers for a bit now and thought I'd introduce myself. Besides paper modeling, I like origami and 3d modeling. For origami I prefer 3d shapes and for 3d modeling I use Blender. I was trying recently to develop a paper model with all open source software but I hadn't found a descent unfolder utility yet. I'm comfortable with Pepakura Designer so lately I've knuckled under and started to use it again.
