    Hi All,
I am Jerzy, Polish living in Austria for ages already. I am not card model builder, I am ship model builder out of everything - wood, new materials and sometimes also paper.

In the past I used to build cardboard models, perhaps I will do so again :) one day. This is one of my old models (sorry for the dust, she has been standing around for 23 years already!!):

I came back to hobby about 2 years ago after quite a long break. Since 2004 I have been building Polish school ship Zenit:

That's it for now. I will look around, perhaps I will be able to help also from time to time.

Beautiful craftsmanship Jerzy! Very, very nice!

Dust or no, that is one fine looking model!
Looks like she will outlive us all!

Welcome to the forum and I hope to see you around here often!

Are the railings made from wire? They look perfect!

    Thanks for welcome :)

Railings on rescue boat - yes copper wires all soldered.
On Zenit, railings are made of brass and also soldered. About railings I have created small text on my website... and full log (needs to be updated though) is here M/S Zenit Building log

    Thank you Jerzy!

We have much to learn from each other and this is a great start!
Updated? Looks like those railings were made yesterday!
Old techniques are sometimes the best. Tried and true!
