Hi Zealot! I'm a newbie from California. I started off doing origami and have recently gotten into cardstock modeling and Warhammer models. I hope to learn a lot here.

Hi! Glad you found your way here. There's actually a designer here who does Warhammer vehicles and such. Goes by the name FlareBaffled. Have you built any card models yet? We really like seeing build threads with pictures. If you can post pics, great! If not, that's OK too. Jump right in!

I actually JUST found out about Warhammer, and I find the game a little intimidating... I just want to practice the game with some homemade models first before dumping $100s into miniatures!
I have built some card models, but very simple ones. Mostly "urban art" characters produced by illustrators like Harlancore, Marshall Alexander, Salazad and the like. I just finished the "Flat-to-Flight" Elephant from the Curiosity Group and it came out quite nicely! When I get better, I figure I'll tackle harder stuff.

Welcome aboard! The way to get better is just to get started and keep on going. At 4 cents a sheet you can't go wrong.
