I have been flying rc planes for a while and now want to try helicopters. What is an easy to fly not overpriced helicopter model i could start out with???

I thouroughly recommend the Blade CX2. I have one and absolutely love it! It's a 4 channel Coaxial (no collective) heli that is a joy to fly - and the parts are real cheap too! :)

The transmitter is a 2.4 Spektrum, so you can take it out to meets and not worry about crossovers with other flyers. Just charge it up and fly! :)

Since you already know forward flight from the airplanes I would suggest the Blade CP. Start with the training gear. Under stand the aspects of the heli controls, and when you get better you could always convert it to a 3D flying machine in a matter of minutes all for around $200.
