I am desperately trying to find Trucks N Stuff HO scale propane tankers and have run up against a brick wall and it hurts.

Specifically, I am really interested in 734-2050 (Walther's) as my primary choice and 734-2043 as a secondary choice.

I need at least two if not three of these but have not been successful in my endeavors both local hobby shops or via the internet.

If anyone knows of a source I would appreciate knowing about it.

    Thanks for you help!

What does the Walthers site say about their status (you should see if they are available or not, still for sale or not, and/or if any hobby shops might have ordered them recently).

1/87 Vehicle Club may have some links to manufactures that might be able to help.

Walther's is out of stock on the ones I am interested in and they do not have an anticipated date. The 1-87 vehicles site was interesting but not much help in locating what I need.

All my local (northern California) shops do not have this so I am forced to spend time searching smaller shops across the country.

I did get an e-mail from Trucks N Stuff and they do not have this in inventory and the diesel tractors that come with the tanks are not available.

After spending a week on this effort it is looking more like I will have to live without or hope that at some point in the future propane tank trucks become popular again.

Trucks N' Stuff was bought out by A-LINE about a year ago.

A-line has some Trucks N' Stuff products available but are not in the decorated trucks that Trucks N' Stuff used to produce. Bruce (who was the owner of Trucks N' Stuff) sold all the molds to A-LINE is what I heard and now they just sell the undecs of the 53'ers, 28'ers, 24' flats, double bottom dumps, 48' spread axle flats, and 24' flats with the grain boxes.

Your best bet would be e-bay as every retailer that I have contacted has/is sold out the entire Trucks N' Stuff product line.

I really miss there products, they were nicely detailed and AWESOME prices to, hopefully they come back soon, but that may never happen.:cry::cry:

Have you checked with A-line to see if Joe has put them into production?

I have not, but that might be a good question to ask him. Ive meet him a few times at the local train shows, hes a nice guy :thumb:

Maybe we could convince him to put them back in production

Josh, Russ - I am looking again at the A-line site just in case I missed something. Right now I have a tentative find from Bruno at Trucks N Stuff for a propane trailer only but no diesel tractor. It should be easy fix by buying a separate truck. I will let the list know what transpires.

The lesson in all this is that one cannot sit around trusting that this hobby will always have available what you need when you want it.
