The Ostend St. Ornamental Iron Works and the grain elevator are due to be switched this afternoon.
Experimenting with shadow effects. I read a great article an issue or two ago in Railroad Model Craftsman on photography. Thought I would give it a whirl.

In the photo with the B&O and the D&H covered hoppers the LPP looks almost like a real person!

Very nice looking photos, Stuart. I particularily like the second one; the effect of sun and shadow is really convincing, as is the switchman.

Fantastic shots! You get that sense of being down at track level! I especially like the coil cars too and that 44 tonner is nicely weathered and has a cool smoke effect!
Beautiful photos, I like the last one with the sun lighting the yellow boxcar and the green one being partially in shadow.
