H0e starter sets

Availability might be quite different whether you live in Europe or in America (or even down under).

Where do you live? For questions like this one, it helps when you enter your homebase in your profile so that it shows up at the left of your post...

To your question: Theres another German manufacturer of H0e stuff, Tillig in Germany. But I don't think that he produces real starter sets.

Do a Google search for Eggerbahn, which is back in production in Switzerland.............
and then hope you win the lottery!

Bachmann makes HOe. They offer a model of the Zillertal (sp?) 0-6-2t. It's the same engine that LGB offers. Here's a picture of the real one I took while on my honeymoon last year. It's Bachmann's Liliput line. I bought one of their HO 2-10-2s while in Austria and it is very high quality. I regret not picking up on of their 0-6-2ts and a few cars for with it. One of the engines went on ebay a couple weeks ago for $30 or so.

Tep 60, are you going to build a narrow gauge layout?
