Grumman F-14 Tomcat

    This model was designed by Triop.

    Not that many parts and a fairly simple build which suits me.

    The only problem I had was the fuselage which is made from 4 parts. Top, bottom and 2 x sides. When gluing this together I failed in my efforts to keep it square. As a result there is a slight up angle to the wings,(which I modeled in the forward position).

    I was aware before the build that the the result would be back heavy but didn't weight the front as I liked the idea of a take off/land look.

    I'm having a go at re-colouring Triops F-14 in Iranian Air Force desert camo.

    Progress so far.
