Try placing a plastic milk carton section behind them. Also, if possible, using paintshop (or other) make the colors several shades darker. Dash

Have you considered printing on decal paper and tranferring it to clear acitate? The decal paper is designed to soak up the ink. Clear acitate won't absorb the ink and will dry fainter and even puddle.

If you ever decided to draw your plans out- maybe even write a book on cardboard structure building- You could make a lot of money. I know it's a book that I'd have in my collection.

Sorry guys, I do not have the time or inclination to write a book. Even if I did it is almost impossible to get it published. Just ask Shamus.
I would rather spend the time on my layout and posting my progress here.
