Was kinda curious, how many folks are here from California ?
Im from Cali, im in Orange County and I live in Rancho Santa Margarita
Not many we hope. sign1 That is unless we annex it into the South. Doubt we want it. Don, should be quite a few.
Josh M. - Looked at your layout thread, and some of your weathering pics. Wow am I impressed. Do you have any room for YOU? I would say you have been rather busy. I live in Cerritos, near Knott's. Keep up the good work!!
Welcome to the Gauge Don, from another Don....
No, I'm not in California, but we did live close to you a good while back. We are Arizonians through and through, but we did live in Orange County for a few years until we missed Arizona badly enough to come back.
Hope to see more of you around here.
Don - Thanks for the welcome. Really enjoy everything I'm learning about this forum and site.

Hi Don, welcome. I'm in Anaheim, down the street from Knot's
California born and raised. Used to work in Orange County, have relatives in Arizona, now I hang my hat in Stockton. Will retire anywhere but here.
Oh boy 5 girls + Josh!? sign1:curse:
Welcome aboard, Don. I live in Lakewood, next to Cerritos.
What scale do you run ?
I'm modeling ho, although at the moment we are in the middle of a major house remodeling project so my trains are in storage. I'm a member of the Orange County Module Railroaders.
Orange County Module Railroaders- So. California HO scale RR
When I'm at a club set up, I usually run 1950's Santa Fe, but I will occasionally go out of era when I feel like running a steam train or if I want to run something more modern.
Once the remodel is finished, I will again have the space to do a shelf layout in a spare bedroom that my wife and I are sleeping in right now. At that time I'm going to build a 7' x 9' "L" shaped switching layout based on the LA Junction Rwy.
Russ - Let me know the next club setup, I would like to see it. Thanks,
