Grand Canyon Railroad

Recently got back some photos taken while on vacation in November. The Grand Canyon uses an A-B-A set of FA's. One of my favorite diesels!

Not only that, they have a kit bashed steamer. I rode the Grand Canyon Railroad in 1981 and it was a great ride. The Feather River Rail Society once owned the FPA4 and FPB4 that are running on the GCRy. Sure nice to know they went to a good home.

Here's a picture of what they were running in 1990 when I was there. This was taken in Williams.Didn't ride though, because they said there was a two year waiting list. Thats my dad(blame him for me liking trains) on the right.
