Great to see such precision workmanship. Many who are new to the hobby don't realize that putting the big effort in the benchwork is so important. Look forward to more pictures as the project nears completion.

Thanks for the welcome. I really should not hijack this thread but hopefully a short reply won't offend. I wrote up an article about my switch from Marklin to conventional two-rail in this article on my web site. I am currently building a new layout in my basement. You can see some pictures of my new layout here and here. I am in the process of writing up a much longer article - will post it soon.
