I'm buying bullion as "insurance" and am trying to figure out if I need to spend more on the MS70 bullion. For example, on the website - there seems to be no rating for most of the bullion - is it ok to buy it for resale later on? Or should I be certain of the grade before I buy anything?

Not at all. Unless you're trying to assemble a registry set with PCGS or NGC, I'd say that trying to buy MS70 is just going to make you overpay. If you're buying just for gold, then the grade of the coin isn't relevant, the weight of it is.

If you are looking to buy gold as insurance why not just consider the StreetTracks ETF "GLD"? Seems like the costs and maintenance would be much less than actually physically buying buillion, no?
