gluing wood flat cars together

i am building some wooden On2 flat cars out of bass wood. what kind of glue do i use to glue it?

Hi Shawn,

For gluing wood to wood, I use either Elmers white glue, or the yellow carpenters glue…

For gluing wood to plastic, or resin parts, I use CA adhesive…There are several different types of this glue…I use a type called Insta-Cure, which is thicker than the regular “super glue” type of CA…

Like Drew, I have used the yellow carpenters glue. I imagine the white glue would work fine too.

For bigger projects, using heavy stock, I think the yellow glue is better...But for lighter stock, the white glue is just as good.
