I am about to start on my layout and wanted to know what is the best kind of glue to use to fix down scatter etc.
I have a bottle of wood glue that i was going to use to start with but wanted to know what kind is best and if it should be watered down.

    Thanks for the help

By "scatter" I presume you mean scenery materials, most people I know use a 50% water/Elmer's white glue mix.

for putting down ground cover i use spray adhesive if your meaning ballest then a 50/50 mix of water and white glue is used.also a friend uses latex paint in a earth tone to put his ground cover down.

I spray the aerea with a solution of 50/50 white wood glue and water, spead the cover slowly and then spay again from a hight of about 6-8" with the adition of the dish soap untill wet, but not soaked, this seams to stick almost anything that I use on my layout.
I hope this info helps you... have a good one.. steve.
