I have never done a build thread before. (Hope this is in the right place) Mainly because the models I build are fairly small and free to download from the net.

I have had this model, GDI-3A Kodiak, on my hard drive for quite some time now, and have built it before, so this will be a second build for me. This time around I will add the experience I have learned here and abroad to this model. I am also going to build from scratch, a base for it. Here are the ideas.

    The model
I tried to find this model on the net again, but failed. I cant seem to find it anywhere. Sorry, No link to download

    The Stand:
Here is a crude rendition of what i have in mind for the stand. It will be made completely out of paper.
The top should be a few layers to get a glossy look from the water, and none glossy from the terrain.

This looks like another great idea......
Where did you get that model?
The idea with the base sounds great, nothing better to compliment a model like scenery or A BASE! :-D

Here are some pics of what I have so far, and Im not happy (again) with the results.

So I am going to edite the heck out of the orginal sheets to inlarge the scale.

The model its self is to small for card stock and regular paper is to thin.

I will update when that process is completed

Any idea what scale the model is currently?

I'm pretty sure that if/when I try and build this that I'll double it in size because I don't do tweezers. Hehe.

I have no clue but if I had to guess, I would have to say somewhere in the 150 to 200 range. But I could be completly off.
