Send 88 a PM or an Email, he's the keeper of the list and the dispatcher for the travels of the N scale Gauge boxcar and I am sure he will place you on the list.

You know I was thinking after your last post and my answer to you , why not get the car now, I read many a book about the railroad construction in the US, and as they progressed cars brought the track laying equipment and all kinds of supplys food, spikes and many other items, so your under construction , get a few photos at the end of the track while supplies are being unloaded. As well as you write you should have no trouble coming up with a story. Also any one else who would like to participate should get on the list, no matter what stage their layout is in, it gave this old man quite a pleasure to do my photos and come up with a story that flowed with the previous one. I have made a slide show of all the photos posted so far , when it's over I hope to have a great show for my memories.

Andrew,

That would have to be one wail of a tail to have anyone believe that there's really blue foam under the land, and underneath all those trees and dirt on that mountain, is a deep layer of plaster-of paris.    Sounds as bad as some of those stories I've been sending you.:D

Ahhhhh, I can see it now, "here comes ol' #6250 hauling #101976 past famer Bill's played out farm. Poor people, they worked the land so hard, they hit blue foam and had to abandon it." Or, "there goes old #6250 hauling #101976 into 'Scared-Stiff mountain', named for its pure white surface."

I'll be ready, this will force me to stop screwing around and get my act together.

D:cool: N

I for one Don love your story about the farm and the mountain. :D You are just supposed to have fun with it, it doesn't mean you have to have a world class layout to join in. If you had any idea how many props I had to use to cover holes in the scenery :D :D :D :D

Don - if you noticed I just have track down on my benchwork. I have just started mountain area and have not touched the flat area. You can take a picture that shows the car with whatever motive power you use and in whatever setting you want to show and then tell your story based on the photo shoot. Like Tyson said just have fun:D :D :D :)

Tyson, Dave, Andrew,

Whatever will be will be. I doubt that I'll be at a loss for a description of some sort and you can bet I'll have fun doing it.

88 has my address so bring it on, just give me enough time to bring in a few hundred yards of top soil to get ol' farmer Bill up and running again.:D Man, those N trucks don't haul much do they?

Yeah, I just got a bunch. Unfortunately, most of them are sitting down and just won't listen to reason.:D :D :D :D I guess they all want to either drive the trucks or watch.  They haven't formed some sort of a union have they:confused:

TGR#101976 in Southwest Florida

After meetings, rushing the Shop Crews and a deal with the
Suncoast Railroad; the Ohio & Florida transports the Gauge Car to
a transfer building being rented. The official building site is still
in paperwork.
Here it passes the Loco Restoration and Museum Roundhouse:

By the way we are able to get these shots with the help of The
Blue Egret Helio Tours (Subsidized by O & F Corp. of Transport-
ation).;)
As we hover about we see the OFXT SD-60 passing a small
town. The influnce of Northren builders can be seen. The old
tower and station remain as a Historic site and Museum for the
town. The passenger service picks up greatly during the State Fair
and the local Festivals. Great cooking! Ya'll come by some time!
