    Folks, thanks to our friend Chris (Interurben) we have an opportunity to tour the CP yards one weekday afternoon the week of Aug 1-7. This is a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with a working yard - something that has become increasingly difficult to do.

    The only stipulation is that you MUST have steel-toed safety boots.

    I'd like to know how many of you would be interested in participating. You do not need to be part of the Gauge Module group to attend, just need to be able to get to the Toronto area that week.

    Please let me know if you're interested. Thanks!

    Hi Val I have just emailed John, to be sure he is not on vacation that week.
    let you know soon.

    2nd is Monday through to 6th Friday one of the afternoons.

    The 2nd August is a civic Holiday Val so we are working with 3rd to 6th.

    Matthyro Will always be re-membered

    If it is approved then I would sure like to go but much will depend on which day. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are out for me because of volunteer commitments

    Oh well Chris, I guess the timing was not to be. I appreciate your efforts, though - it was a great idea!

    Don't worry though folks, there will be plenty of other railfanning during the week as well as club visits TBA.
