I've done some on-line shopping for pricing gatorboard. It would appear that you save a little money buy purchasing a large lot of gatorboard at one time. But the problem with this is one would have to buy a lot of 15 4'X8' sheets in a case for around $600.00 bucks.
I don't need to scratch build a city in HO, just a huge BOF structure, measureing 3 1/2' height X 4 1/2 ' length X 3' in width. I guess I can build this structure out of much cheaper stuff than gatorboard, something like foam board with paper backing,instead of wood backing like gatorboard.
