Got some new piccies of Garahbara to share. Digital is definitely the way to go!

New South Wales Gov't Railways 4802 climbs the Garahbara range with the Western Mail passenger service. circa 1970.

B class

V/Line (Victoria) B Class B80 heads a "teacup" passenger set out of Garahbara Gully, on it inaugural run with the new livery. circa 1980.

V/Line Deisel

B80 heads the Melbourne bound passenger service out of Garahbara Gully. These GM deisel/electrics were introduced into the Victorian Railways to replace steam in the mid 1950's are are still in service today. This livery is from the early/mid 80's. Likewise with the passenger coaches.

A Class loco

"S" Class loco, renumbered into "A" class, as they are today, used for freight in the Freight Australia livery.

S315 & Spirit of Progress

S315 heads the Spirit of Progress through Garahbara, on a warm summer's evening, on it's run from Melbourne to Sydney, in the original "as delivered" livery of this class, including coaches. circa 1960.
