My power seems to surge up and down?? I am using a Tech3 power cammand 9500 transformer on G Guage. I have a small oval about 50' of track each and every track is secured with a clamp and all are tight. I have tried a friends transformer and get the same result. The train will go but unless I keep the power up to about 65% it stops. Even at
100% you can see the train surging like it is getting power and then no power just for a fraction of a second? I have to believe it has something to do with my track but can find no place where there is a problem. If you have any suggestions I would sure appreciate them.
    Thanks have a Merry Christmas!

    MasonJar It's not rocket surgery

Welcome to The Gauge! Glad you solved your problem.

What did you change? Sounds like you might have had dirty wheels or track, or perhaps something binding in the loco's gearing?

Glad it worked out though. Merry Christmas.
