Ok I tried mixing techniques from Plastic modeling with my paper craft. I've tried to dirty up the FV101
The first pic is the front view of the FV101 main hull as built,
And the next is dirtied up.
The left side.
And dirtied up.
And finally the rear
and dirtied.
not bad but not the effect I was hoping for, I'll try another technique latter.
I just want to take a moment to thank those of you who view these models and post your thoughts, that is the essence of what this forum is for,
Thank you all.
Update:
I started on the turret today but didn't get far, the turret hull is done with the blast doors and ammo container in place.

Thank you all.......................................
I'll try to work on it some more tomorrow.
Thanks
I agree. I think that some people don't understand that just letting it be known that they looked at the model, and saying a simple "Good job" goes a long way. I am still taken with the weathering you did!
A little update: I'm back to working full time so hobby time is cut down.
The gun tube is rolled and installed along with the mantlet Mantle? (sic?)
anyhoo here are the pics.
Thanks all again, I have to keep the wife happy by making one for her right quick, then I saw a plan for a deck box for MtG that I am going to make. then new ink cartridges and I'll start on that Raptor build.
