Is it a model? Not strictly speaking but it is historical.

Feb. 23, 2008, a full scale replica of the Silver Dart (first powered flight in Canada) will be flown in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, Canada to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the flight of the original Silver Dart built by Alexander Graham Bell. It will be flown by Shuttle astronuaut Bjarni Tryggvason.

    Read about it here.

And here is the offical site

I had watched the test flight at the Hamilton Airport on the news. I was thinking what a fine model it would make too. There is a balsa kit out there for the Silver Dart. 1:24 scale. 2' wingspan. I couldn't find any Tech/blueprint drawings of the Silver Dart although I'm sure some exist somewhere ;)

Looks pretty nice. Not a bad price either..

Impressive - I can just imagine the man hours that had to go into building it.
