We are happy to announce another excellent addition to our 'Captured Beauties' page. This time we have the plane that was secretly shipped to the US, painted to represent a different aircraft, tested, restored to it's original livery and returned. Interesting story from the early days of the Cold War Era. See http://www.afa.org/magazine/june2004/0604yak.asp

Available for delivery today, the Yak 23 in US livery will make another interesting piece to add to your growing 'War Prize" collection.

That's me! The beard is usually in a braid or banded when around the house. I've been working on the Hako for over a month and was overjoyed when 3M offered the template.

As far as making the model look easy, it really isn't as difficult as most would think. Don't get rushed, dry fit and don't force anything. Nobi does an excellent job with his designs. I just started his Skoda Kauba last night and it is looking excellent.
