You can find a nice papermodel of Thor Heyerdahl's raft "Kon-Tiki" HERE :thumb:
Wow! Thanks! I remember that voyage.
That is one impressive looking model. :thumb:
I remember reading the book about that first voyage a long time ago.
I was talking about Kon Tiki and Ra with a friend, only about two days ago.
We are both old enough to remember the cinema newsreels.
When I was very young an old fiend of my family gave me the Heyerdahl's book that tell the history of the Kon-Tiki expedition. May be, It was my first book that made me dream about an off shore adventure, just over the water into a small cane shelter, whit the waves and the winds that drive the small wooden raft across the immensity ...
This make me dream again all that ... Thanks to give me the link and I will follow with interest Your build. :thumb:
Sorry, my bandwith limit exceeded within two days!
I will manage this as soon as possible.
If this is your own model design, you are more than welcome to upload it to our downloads section.
I remember reading a book about this voyage when I was a kid... would love to have a look at your model.
Yes, this is my own design,
but this is not ready to publish yet.
It was on the Net only to have comments on it in the design stage.
Well, could you please send me an email to kon-tiki***at***bgbiomass.com?
