Gearz: That sound is perfect for the model. I think that i have an old mp3 player that still works , if i can locate it i think that will put it inside the base with a small speaker, with that sound running in loop. :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Another week, more work, and another part of the Pandora is done. I've added the pin masts, and based on the actual Pandora I decided to add two pieces of grey string in order to replicate the chain attached to the pin masts in the game. For the first piece of string I used a small needle to create a hole to pass the string, for the second I tied the string to every pin mast with a knot. In order to make this work, I had to embed the pin masts with cyanoacrylate. The pin masts where attached to the hull using UHU super glue. I'm also planing some more changes to the original model, so in order to comply with the rules, I will release an extra page with my changes.

PS Thanks Gearz for the authorization. :thumb:

It took more time than I wanted, but the Pandora is done bounce7
Before the final pics, here some pics of the assembly of the guns, engines and engine supports.

For the barrels I decided to use a piece of wire, instead of the rolled paper version. Why? Simply because it was too small for my big fingers :mrgreen:. Anyway they have the same size as the paper versions and roughly the same color.

Now for the engines. I created a new prop to be printed in transparency, and carved the spinners from a toothpick, as once again the paper version was too small for me, I painted every spinner and made sure they looked similar to the paper version.
I also created a thicker version of the engine supports, so that I could cut them from thick card.

In order to comply with the rules, and also after approval from Gearz (many thanks :thumb:) I give you the extra sheets, so that you can achieve the same look as I did http://www.xadow.info/extraparts.jpg

Finally added the engine supports and the engines.
And here it is the final pics.
I never had so much fun with a model before, the parts fit perfectly, and the outcome, at least for me, is breathtaking.

Many thanks to Gearz who created this magnificent model (and many others).

Woohooo....Most excellent build xadow !! :thumb::mrgreen::thumb:

That's exactly how I pictured her when I started developing the model. Your improved parts look Brilliant. + Those transparencies for the blade disk's are certainly the ticket for airships! I'm just looking at the few crumpled hull sections I'd test built, and all those small details may have been a pain to build but they make a BIG difference.

Thanks for permission to include your pics with the kit, I'll nip off now and fix it up..

I'll be back..

xadow ~ I've added your pics to the Pandora kit + added a note and link to the additional parts at my site. If you'd like any changes give me a 'hoy' and I'll fix it up.. * I'd guess most developers would agree that certain models can be like a ' message in a bottle' so Its a real pleasure to see one.. umm.. 'washed up on a beach' as it were.

Excellent build and dev work xadow.. :thumb::mrgreen::thumb:
