for the Thomas fans out there

Just picked up the Thomas the tank engine set(22.50 brand new, check Wal Mart..quick) and was wondering if it would run on 15 inch curves. I had an idea for a Christmas set up with a trolley I bought this year. And it would be neat if Thomas would fit on it as well.
I haven't bought any track yet so was wondering if anyone else had tried it.

Yes he will, I have ran him on 5 1/2 inch radius and he would run about 1/4 throttle on it before he would derail. And that's no misprint, five and one half. He runs fine on 12, so 15 shoul be no problem. He doesn't like turnouts BTW, esp. Atlas plastic frogs. Mine stall some in them. Fred

Mine runs on 12" radius no sweat, Annie and Clarabelle just love it. :thumb:

If you want to run him on turnouts you probably need to use Peco Electrafrogs.
